CT Anderson
CT Anderson is the Founder and Creative Director of Springclean, a nonprofit whose mission is to create jobs and reduce landfill space by repurposing textile material in new and innovative ways.
CT has more than 22 years of corporate sustainability experience. She is an experienced corporate executive in business development and risk management on environmental and social issues, and her current role is in Environmental, Social, and Governance at Bank of America.
Prior to Bank of America, she led the sustainability team at Belk Department Stores, Inc. She has consulted for numerous organizations and worked in real estate development and sustainability at Walmart Stores, Inc.
She has traveled to over 40 countries, speaks several languages, and enjoys meeting people all over the world.

Tim Taylor
Tim Taylor is an Energy and Sustainability Program Manager at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. Before CBRE, he worked as an account manager at the U.S. Green Building Council where he customized green building strategies for top users of LEED. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Energy Manager. Tim holds a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University and a BS in Business Administration from Elon University. He is a Maryland native who currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and two daughters.
Sonya Barnes
Sonya Barnes is an international luxury life and style strategist. After almost two decades traveling the globe as a renowned international image consultant to destinations such as Southeast Asia, Europe, and Vietnam, working with Fortune 500 companies such as General Electric, Bank of America, and others, Sonya has rebranded her business to be “women-centric” working with the modern woman to create and live fulfilling, extraordinary lives with style. She has twice been named 25 Most Stylish, and in 2017, and was named as one of Charlotte's Most Stylish Women by Southpark Magazine. In 2018, Mecklenburg Times named her one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Charlotte, NC. As a community leader, philanthropist, and advocate for women’s issues, she serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Charlotte (Board Chair, 2015-2016), The Arts Empowerment Project, Mitchell's Fund, and a founding Board Member of the Lunch Project (TLP) global non-profit servicing children in Tanzania, East Africa. She is an active participant in Women's Executive Charlotte, and Women's Impact Fund.
Ivan Cohen
Ivan Cohen is an educator with the New York City Department of Education, where he has worked for the past 15 years. In his current role, he is the Senior Director of a special mayoral initiative designed to foster collaboration between District and Charter Schools throughout the city of New York. Prior to his transition to the field of Education, he worked as a Consultant for a private New York City based consulting firm. It is during this time that he developed his love for traveling, which he still indulges whenever possible. Mr. Cohen also has an interest in Real Estate, and in addition to being a licensed Real Estate Sales Person in the state of New York, he is a Landlord and Property Manager for several properties. When not traveling, he is at home in the Bronx, borough of New York City.
Monica Holmes
With a background in urban design and planning, Mrs. Holmes is committed to building livable communities. She is experienced in placemaking, transit-oriented design, neighborhood design, graphic design, and project management. With both public and private sector experience, Monica designs spaces and places that inspire people to have fun, get engaged, and love their community.
She is thrilled to be working for her hometown, bringing her international design experience to her own backyard. Since beginning with the City of Charlotte she has focused on building an urban design and placemaking program that builds social capital and transforms the way the city thinks about the built environment leading projects such as Open Streets 704 and GovPorch.
Todd Huston
A highly creative and forward-thinking product development executive specializing in the fashion and apparel industry with extensive expertise in product design, merchandising strategies, brand development, product execution, global sourcing, costing, P&L management and seasonal color and trend analysis. A strategic thinker, who utilizes excellent communication skills to lead teams of designers and product managers, builds a collaborative company culture and partners with senior leadership. Leverages wide-ranging international experience to lead product strategy and build highly effective sourcing relationships. Proven leadership skills that continually drive personal and team engagement, with perseverance in pursuing wide, diverse, and changing goals with success.
Xander Kent
Bees have led Xander through life. Despite a lifelong fear, he sought to acquaint himself with bees while in the Peace Corps (2011-2013) where he discovered the joy of bees and teaching people to keep bees in Gambia and Senegal. He has carried the passion of bees through his grad school education at Duke (MEM/MBA) where he founded a bee club and a 5yr career at Amazon where he has managed Packaging Sustainability as a Product Manager and built PL statement as a Finance Manager for the Alexa business. Xander is now the Senior Manager for Restricted Products at Amazon where he owns the offensive content moderation team, legal compliance team, and environmental compliance team. Bees have taught Xander the connectedness of systems. The lessons bees teach are at the core of Springclean's dedication for people to adopt a circular economy… just like the bees in Xander's bee farm.
Alex Smereczniak
Alex Smereczniak is the CEO & Co-Founder of 2ULaundry. Prior to launching 2ULaundry, Alex worked as a Financial Consultant at Ernst & Young for 2 years. He received his BS from Wake Forest University, where he sold his first laundry startup for a 10x return.
Tony Waller
Tony Waller is Senior Director, Corporate Affairs Constituent Relations for Walmart Stores, Inc. in Bentonville, AR. In his position he actively works in helping to set strategy for the company’s outreach opportunities and social investments in the African-American, American Indian, mature and women’s markets. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Tony worked for State Farm Insurance Companies in Bloomington, IL, where he was employed for 22 years. Tony serves as Chair of the NAACP ACT-SO Advisory Council. In addition he serves on the Board of Trustees of Center for Asian Pacific American Women and the Board of Directors of the National African-American Women’s Leadership Institute. With both of these organizations he was the first male ever selected to serve. In his spare time, Tony enjoys reading and writing. Music plays a strong role in his life. He sings quite often, belonging to a number of choirs. He is a strong supporter of the arts and serves on the Corporate Advisory Council of the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR. He speaks Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. A graduate of the University of Virginia, he is a diehard WAHOO. In addition, he is a passionate collector of African-American and Latina art & sculpture, antique watches, vintage cuff links and children’s story books.
